Waikato Valley men play in Northern Districts competitions against other District Associations (Northland, Counties Manukau, Hamilton, Bay of Plenty and Poverty Bay.

The Waikato Valley premier men play in the  Fergus Hickey Rosebowl (Two Day Cricket) and the Brian Dunning Cup (T20).
